Nazam Bhuiyan is a research-driven academic and emerging scholar in marketing and consumer behavior, currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Marketing at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK), Malaysia. Their doctoral research explores the determinants of online purchase decisions in Bangladesh’s e-commerce sector, focusing on e-service quality, fulfillment efficiency, website usability, and digital trust.
With over a decade of combined academic and professional experience, Nazam integrates practical industry insights with rigorous research methodology. They serve as a Course Instructor at the Academy of Open Learning (AOL), where they design and deliver applied courses on SPSS, SmartPLS, and Research Methodology. Their teaching emphasizes data-driven learning, structural equation modeling, and the development of analytical and publication skills among students.
Nazam is also a Research Reviewer for the Academy of International Business (AIB), South Asia Chapter, contributing to peer review and academic quality assurance. Their scholarly work has been recognized internationally, including a Runner-Up Award at the AIB South Asia Conference (2025) for the paper “Marketing Challenges and Strategies for Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) Expanding into South Asia.” They have also presented and published research on post-pandemic supply-chain management and innovative pedagogy in international business education.
Nazam’s teaching and research interests span consumer behavior, branding, international business, marketing strategy, and research methods.
